Our client is a well funded documents platform start up with several successful products and over 400k daily users. They have been around for 5 years, are profitable, and have 100 people across the organization. They are now building a new entity. The technology to disrupt the PDF industry has been in development for 18 months. It's now ready to roll. This is an AI native platform that makes working with PDFs feel like it was designed in this decade. It combines the functionality of tools like Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, and Google Drive into one platform, built with AI at the core so the experience feels modern rather than clunky. It's powerful enough to replace tools people are already paying too much for. The product is built. The team is funded. The launch window is Q3. This product will be positioned with intention to sell and already has gained interest. Equity is real and not far down the line. They're looking for a passionate, bold, truly out of the box Brand Marketing thinker who can cause a splash and lead the marketing function for this new entity. This will be the first Marketing hire and you will have the chance to build and lead a team early on. Ideally you've built something people talked about. A brand, a launch, a moment — something that got attention because it deserved it. You think in stories and stunts, not just campaigns. You have an instinct for what spreads and why. You have the creative range to go from absurd and viral to polished and credible. You enjoy the collaborative, ground zero fast paced start up environment.

Requirements
Early marketing hire at a breakout consumer brand, or someone who's built a brand function from scratch

Experience engineering earned media, not just placing it
A track record of bold and structured thinking: lots of ideas, clear prioritization
Comfort with AI tools and genuine excitement about what they unlock for a lean team
