Job Description

An opportunity to develop & grow this successful element of the B2B unit. Grow & scale all aspects of the unit, including expanded portfolio, new propositions, customer numbers, and revenue per customer. Grow & scale your existing team, also gain the satisfaction from helping them to develop and expand their experience through your leadership, skills, knowledge, and experience. Personal development too, take ownership and reap the rewards and recognition as you head and lead your business area to the next level. We are looking for a Sales Leader, someone who remains keen to be amongst their team, to be visible, to coach, inspire and motivate, whilst having the commercial breadth to have the knowledge of the numbers and data to make evidence based decisions. Note: as visibility is important, this role is onsite at our Abingdon Head Office at least 4 days per week. You will head and lead a small but successful desk and field sales team, which will likely double in size over the next couple of years, in line with our forecasted customer numbers. You will also collaborate closely with our marketing & proposition teams, to ensure a pipeline of successful commercial opportunities feed your teams. The target market is small and medium businesses in rural England (1 to 20 employees), so volume is high and the sales life cycle is relatively short, so keeping pace and momentum up is key and should be familiar to you. This is technology solutions sales, so your background may be similar, but solution selling and being someone who can inspire and help coach their team to become the best they can be is what is key. Gigaclear is a growing Fibre Broadband (FTTP / FTTH) company, developing our fibre-to-the-premises broadband infrastructure to some of the most difficult to reach areas of the UK, empowering those communities with broadband to rival any city.
