Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage the Art faculty, including Visual Art, Drama, and Design Technology
Inspire a team of teachers to deliver creative, ambitious lessons aligned with national curriculum standards
Cultivate a rich arts culture through performances, exhibitions, and community projects
Champion student creativity and ensure inclusive access to artistic opportunities for all learners
Contribute to curriculum planning and lead cross-school developments alongside SLT
Monitor progress and performance, providing mentorship and development for arts staff

Requirements:

Fully qualified teacher with QTS, PGCE, or QTLS and a specialism in Art, Drama, or a related subject
Proven leadership or middle management experience in an educational setting
Strong track record of teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) with evidence of impact
A genuine passion for creative education and student empowerment
Proven ability to organise effectively, communicate clearly, and collaborate well with others
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
Must provide two professional references from your most recent roles
