Job Description:

Head of Art and Design position at an Outstanding Secondary School in Bexley. The school is part of one of the best Trusts within London and has recently invested heavily into the Art Department with brand new, state of the art equipment and resources. The Executive Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Head of Art and Design to lead the department.

Job Responsibility:

Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
Working alongside a team of fantastic Art Teachers
Leading the Art and Design Department
Taking the Art Department to new heights

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
You must be able to work as part of a large team of Art and Design Teachers
Must be willing to listen to feedback

Nice to have:

Ambitious Art Teacher comfortable taking on Deputy Head of Art
Experience in developing teaching practices
