Job Description:

Upper School Head of Art and Design. The school provides a world-class international curriculum and is designed to cater to a maximum of 1,300 students. The campus provides a holistic approach to education with outstanding facilities for Early Years to Sixth Form students, including a boarding option.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified with a UK PGCE, or other equivalent teaching qualification
  • A minimum 5 years' of experience, ideally with Head of Department experience
  • Working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England including IGCSE/GCSE and A Levels for Secondary roles
  • Previous experience or knowledge of working with pupils for whom English is not their first language
  • Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development Knowledge and experience
  • Be aware and up to date in all relevant safeguarding policies and practice
  • Knowledge and experience of how to use of ICT effectively in promoting pupil learning
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
