Job Description:

We're looking for a dynamic Head of Admissions (Enrolments Manager) to lead enrolment growth at ACG Sunderland. This is a people-focused and relationship-driven role, responsible for achieving student enrolment targets while delivering an exceptional experience for families from enquiry to enrolment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective parents, students, agents, and feeder schools, providing timely and professional responses via email, phone, and in-person
  • Guide prospective families through the admissions process, ensuring their questions are answered and fostering a positive impression of ACG Sunderland
  • Maintain the Admissions Department calendar and coordinate visits and meetings for prospective parents, students, and agents
  • Accurately input and update application data in the iSAMS system, including offer details, financial records, and contracts
  • Oversee application deposits and resolve admissions invoice queries
  • Track and update records for place and scholarship offers, and draft offer letters for the Head of School
  • Lead the planning and executing key admissions events, such as open days, entrance assessments, taster days, exhibitions, and alumni events
  • Accompany and guide visitors on tours of the school, creating a welcoming and professional experience
  • Work closely with academic and administration staff to schedule meetings with prospective families
  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure admissions materials are current and available online and in print
  • Prepare and distribute New Student Welcome Packs, ensuring families have all necessary information
  • Collaborate with academic and house staff to facilitate smooth onboarding for new students, maintaining a consistent and positive experience

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in admissions, customer service, or a similar administrative role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High proficiency with database systems (e.g., iSAMS) and standard office software
  • Experience in event coordination is a strong advantage
