We are looking for a Head of Accounting to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Controlling, and play a key role in shaping the Group’s accounting function in a multinational environment. In this role, you will ensure technical rigor in financial closings, consistency of accounting criteria across subsidiaries, and robustness of consolidated reporting, while evolving the model towards a scalable and standardized structure aligned with business growth. Your mission is to design, lead, and fully own the Group Accounting function, overseeing transactional accounting, audits, intercompany processes, ERP governance, fiscal compliance, and treasury operations, while driving automation and operational excellence across all entities. You will also lead and develop a high-performing Accounting team, ensuring strong standards, KPIs, and upskilling plans.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and own the Group Accounting function, ensuring accurate closings, statutory compliance, and consolidated reporting
Coordinate accounting policies, controls, and intercompany processes across subsidiaries
Manage audits at Group and local levels, acting as primary contact for external auditors
Oversee treasury operations, collections, payments, FX management, and working capital controls
Lead ERP selection, implementation, and integrations, ensuring accounting and consolidation needs are met
Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls
Hire, manage, and develop the Accounting team, setting KPIs, SLAs, and upskilling plans
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations, Product, IT) on initiatives impacting accounting
Requirements:
6+ years leading accounting functions in multinational environments, with at least 2 years managing teams
Experience in Big-6 audit and hands-on corporate accounting
Deep knowledge of the full accounting cycle, consolidation, and intercompany processes
Strong ERP experience (Business Central 365 a plus), including implementations and system integrations
Proven audit and compliance leadership, including VAT, corporate tax coordination, and treasury
Experience driving automation and standardization of accounting processes
Fluent English
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar
ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent a plus
Nice to have:
French or German is a plus
