Job Description:

Lead the financial accounting and reporting for a leading life insurance company, contributing to the success of a dynamic team in a flexible work environment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accounting manager in a banking institution (both foreign and domestic bank experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of Japan GAAP and IFRS accounting treatments, with a focus on financial products
Experience handling regulatory requests and working with accounting auditors
Proficiency in IT systems, including accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent people management skills and the ability to work independently when required
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
CPA, tax accountant, or Nissho Bookkeeping Level 1 or 2 certification is preferred

Nice to have:

50% of time using English
