Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Head of Accounting (f/m) to join our Finance Department based in Marignane, France.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver AH financial statements and related financial information in compliance with IFRS / local GAAP regulation in time, quality and cost
  • Define and implement accounting rules and procedures in AH in accordance with international standards, legal and shareholder’s requirements “Guardian of the Temple”
  • Assure in coordination with AH and the customer centers the application of harmonized accounting rules within AH in line with Airbus Group rules
  • Be the business partner for all stakeholders in all accounting relevant topics (eg : complex contracts, litigation files, ....)

Requirements:

  • Deliver AH financial statements and related financial information in compliance with IFRS / local GAAP regulation in time, quality and cost
  • Define and implement accounting rules and procedures in AH in accordance with international standards, legal and shareholder’s requirements
  • Assure in coordination with AH and the customer centers the application of harmonized accounting rules within AH in line with Airbus Group rules
  • Be the business partner for all stakeholders in all accounting relevant topics (eg : complex contracts, litigation files, ....)
  • Deliver AH monthly and year-end AH financial statements and annual reports in cooperation with program controlling, cost accounting and all relevant stakeholders
  • Promote Ethics and Compliance culture within the Group for Finance and secure risk mitigation on fraud prevention
  • Implement the AH accounting structure and principles harmonized within Airbus Group and AH entities
  • Implement Internal Controls routines in AH Accounting
  • Be decisive on some disputes/ exchange
  • Drive Competitiveness and quality by fostering / challenging existing processes, tools and best practices in accounting in order to provide all legal reports and management reporting at cost ,on time and quality
  • Manage the relationship with auditors and support/defend the company position
  • Manage the relationship with internal stakeholders (e.g. Controlling, Tax, Legal, Treasury, )
  • Manage the relationship with internal and external services providers (e.g. Technical Accounting, GBS,) and closely monitor and assure their performance quality
  • Support all Continuous Improvement and costs savings initiatives (Transformation Plan, F-Drive, Digitalization,...)
  • Contribute to the Finance Transformation people, process and tools wise, notably in the frame of the ERP / P11 project
  • Manage and develop the Accounting team (~15 persons)
  • This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities
