Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Account Management team in Warsaw to lead our Central Eastern Europe (CEE) Account Management team. Together with our amazing Account Management team, you will help grow and deepen relationships with some of the region’s strongest merchants, including Alza, Notino, and LOT, while supporting the next phase of their growth with Adyen.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide strategic direction: Define and execute a clear, ambitious strategy for the CEE Account Management team
  • Mentor and develop managers: Serve as a coach and mentor for your direct reports
  • Drive commercial growth: Partner with key merchants at the C-level to provide strategic and consultative advice
  • Embody Adyen’s leadership principles: Actively listen to and build trust with your team and key merchant contacts
  • Maintain operational excellence: Ensure consistent and effective management practices across the team
  • Recruit and develop talent: Attract and onboard new team members

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within account management or business development, including building and scaling large, multi-level teams
  • Experience working in international companies across multiple geographies
  • Full professional proficiency in Polish and English

Nice to have:

  • Proven experience within the enterprise payments space is a strong advantage
  • Czech is a plus but not required
