Job Description:

The Head Mechanic is responsible for the repair, maintenance, registration, and safety inspection of department vehicles and equipment. The Head Mechanic will also operate and maintain snow and ice control equipment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate and maintain snow and ice control equipment

Requirements:

  • Class B Massachusetts Driver’s License (CDL) with Airbrake
  • Class C Hoisting License with restrictions no less than 2B, 4E, and 4G
  • 2A is preferred
  • ASE certification is preferred

Nice to have:

  • 2A Hoisting License
  • ASE certification
