The Head – Human Resources will drive end-to-end HR transformation for one of the fastest-growing companies in the building materials space. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role will be responsible for shaping people strategy, strengthening organizational culture, and building scalable HR systems aligned with business growth. The position encompasses strategic HR leadership as well as oversight of core HR operations including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, HRIS, payroll, compliance, learning & development, and administration, in close coordination with the MD and Senior Management Team.
Job Responsibility:
Articulate HR vision, define core values, and align HR policies and strategies with organizational objectives
Build HR capabilities across the organization to support rapid growth with measurable ROI outcomes
Act as a strategic HR partner to the MD and senior leadership team
Lead cultural integration initiatives focused on productivity, accountability, and performance-driven practices
Drive performance management systems (PMS), BSC objectives, bell-curve analysis, incentives, and annual increments
Design and implement succession planning for critical roles across the organization
Ensure retention of high-performing talent and strengthen employee engagement
Oversee end-to-end recruitment and ensure timely closure of manpower requirements
Lead learning & development initiatives including technical and behavioral training programs
Develop assessment centers and internal talent grooming frameworks
Implement and continuously improve HR systems covering payroll, compliance, labor relations, employee relations, and HR documentation
Establish efficient HRIS processes (KEKA) ensuring data accuracy, controls, and reporting discipline
Ensure statutory compliance and sound industrial relations practices across plants and offices
Oversee administrative functions including facilities, logistics, vendor management, and outsourced workforce
Handle disciplinary matters, issue circulars and notices, and ensure smooth HR service delivery
Support annual events and employee engagement initiatives
Requirements:
Full-time MBA (HR / Personnel Management) from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute (preferred)
12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
Strong background in manufacturing organizations, preferably those that have undergone rapid growth and transformation
Proven experience across HR operations, strategic planning, and organizational development
