Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced couple ASAP to manage and maintain two prestigious luxury properties. The couple will be responsible for ensuring the residences are in pristine condition and providing impeccable service during owners' stays. We have two luxury homes, one in Saint-Tropez and the other in Courchevel, each requiring meticulous attention and high-quality upkeep. We wish to entrust the management of these properties to a trustworthy couple who can anticipate our needs and maintain our residences in immaculate condition independently, whether they are occupied or not.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the security and safety of properties in the owners' absence
  • Coordinate the work of external service providers (gardeners, technicians, tradespeople)
  • Prepare the residences before the arrival of owners and their guests
  • Ensure the premises are in pristine condition and regularly maintained
  • Manage supplies and inventory for the residences
  • Maintain regular communication with owners or their assistants
  • Be available to travel between different residences according to the seasonal schedule
  • Oversee the technical maintenance of the properties (heating systems, electricity, plumbing)
  • Perform minor repairs and routine building maintenance
  • Provide table service during formal meals
  • Greet guests and manage their luggage
  • Ensure the security and proper functioning of the residences' telecommunications systems (alarm systems, access control, stereo, TV, etc.)
  • Airport transfers and other errands for the family
  • Errands and other services as needed
  • Supervise housekeeping and ensure the impeccable cleanliness of the residences
  • Manage linens (inventory, maintenance, storage)
  • Prepare guest rooms for owners and their guests
  • Coordinate catering during stays
  • Manage menus and food supplies in collaboration with the chef
  • Ensure the floral and seasonal decoration of the residences
  • Ensure the comfort and well-being of owners and their guests
  • Run errands and provide services as needed

Requirements

  • Previous significant experience on similar roles such as a Head housekeeper or as a Housekeeper and as a Handyman/Caretaker is MANDATORY
  • Professional background demonstrating mastery of standards of excellence
  • Verifiable references attesting of the quality of service and reliability of the couple
  • You have a good level of French or fluently (main language)
  • You must have a very good level of English
  • You MUST have a valid driving license
  • You must have knowledge of home automation and security systems in modern residences
  • You have decent knowledge of Handyman related tasks - basic property maintenance, security, plumbing, electrical, etc.
  • You must have proficiency in basic computer tools
  • You have education or training in luxury hotel service which would be valued
  • You observe absolute discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • Flexibility and adaptability to schedule changes
  • Autonomy and ability to take appropriate initiatives
  • Keen attention to detail and a demand for perfection
  • Impeccable presentation and impeccable manners
  • Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems
  • Ability to work in a team and coordinate external service providers
  • You are pet friendly as there are animals on the property
  • You are hard working, highly organised & take pride in your work
  • You are extremely dynamic and you work well with your partner
  • You have good communication skills and human relationships come with an ease

  • You have a positive attitude generally speaking and you have a great sense of human relationship
  • You DO NOT HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD, you are honest and trustworthy
