Job Description:

Head Host / Hostess (M/F) – Santa Joana, Lisbon - Be the Warm Welcome to One of Lisbon’s Most Exciting Hospitality Destinations. As Head Host, you’ll be the face of the restaurant group. You’ll lead guest reception and front desk operations, manage bookings and guest flow, and ensure a seamless and elevated experience for everyone who walks through the door. Your presence will reflect our standards, enhance guest satisfaction, and drive return visits. You’ll also act as the voice and face of the brand, embodying the values that guide everything we do.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the reception team and front desk operations across Santa Joana venues
  • Greet and seat guests with warmth and confidence
  • Manage the booking system, waitlist, and guest flow
  • Support and escort VIP guests, ensuring an unforgettable experience
  • Use CRM tools to personalise the guest journey based on preferences
  • Handle feedback and guest issues calmly and efficiently
  • Be the link between guests and the wider team, ensuring clear and smooth communication

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a senior host, guest relations manager, or receptionist in a high-end restaurant or hotel
  • OR transferable experience from luxury retail, events, or airline hospitality
  • Fluent in both Portuguese and English (other languages a plus)
  • Strong local knowledge of Lisbon and an awareness of international clientele
  • Calm and composed under pressure, with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Charisma, personality, and a natural passion for hospitality
