Job Description:

Metropolis Resort is seeking a hands-on technician with strong hardware and troubleshooting skills to support technology needs across the resort. The majority of this role will focus on maintaining and repairing arcade games and attractions within our entertainment spaces. The head game technician should also have experience with electronics and low voltage. We're looking for a full time candidate with both weekday and weekend availability. The head game technician will work while Action City is both open and closed on projects assigned by management and the IT Director. Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of arcade games, including regular inspections, cleaning, and repairs as needed
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with arcade games, performing necessary repairs and adjustments to ensure optimal functionality
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and tools, and request replacements as necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with game-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on game play
  • Run and organize low-voltage wiring for new systems or renovations
  • Provide basic tech support to staff on hardware-related issues
  • Assist with game set-up, including installing and configuring new arcade games
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience
