Lead and further develop LGT’s Forward Deployed Engineering capability, including a distributed team based in London, Zurich and Hong Kong
Define the vision, mandate, operating model, delivery standards and ways of working in close alignment with AI, technology and business leadership
Build, coach and scale a high-performing team with a strong focus on collaboration across regions, consistent quality standards, ownership, learning and responsible innovation
Partner closely with senior stakeholders across business units and support functions to identify priority workflows, pain points and opportunities where AI can create measurable value
Oversee a portfolio of AI use cases end to end, from prioritisation and scoping through prototyping, implementation, rollout and continuous improvement
Ensure that AI agents and AI-enabled workflows are designed and adapted to fit real business processes, enterprise constraints and regulatory requirements
Establish clear mechanisms to measure adoption, performance and business impact, and drive ongoing optimisation together with business and technology stakeholders
Requirements
University degree in computer science, engineering, data science, business informatics, innovation management or a related field
Several years of experience at the intersection of business and technology, including leadership of complex transformation initiatives or client-facing technical organisations
Proven ability to lead, develop and scale high-performing cross-functional or distributed teams across locations, cultures and time zones in an international environment
Strong understanding of business processes and stakeholder needs, with the credibility, communication and influencing skills to engage senior business leaders, internal clients and technical teams effectively
Strong hands-on understanding of modern AI systems and agentic workflows, combined with experience translating business requirements into practical technology solutions in complex enterprise environments
Good understanding of the requirements of a regulated environment, ideally combined with experience in financial services
Strong communication skills in English, German and additional languages relevant to LGT locations are an advantage
Sound judgement, strong ownership and a pragmatic, outcome-oriented approach, with the ability to analyse complex workflows, simplify ambiguity, prioritise effectively and balance strategic direction with execution
