Purpose of the Role: To lead and manage the engineering function of the company across multidisciplinary EPC/FEED projects in Water, Wastewater, Desalination, Waste-to-Energy, Industrial Parks, and Civil Infrastructure. The role is responsible for providing strategic direction, developing core engineering capabilities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions that comply with national and international standards. This role plays a key part in driving technical excellence and supporting the company’s broader business goals.
Job Responsibility:
Provide strategic direction and visionary leadership to a multidisciplinary engineering team handling an EPC/FEED project
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, large-scale infrastructure projects across water, energy, and civil domains
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team spanning Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Civil disciplines
Establish and grow a core team of senior discipline heads for technical leadership across verticals
Oversee and strengthen the drafting and design team to ensure timely and quality design deliverables
Drive value engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce project costs, and improve overall project viability
Ensure compliance with Indian and international engineering standards and codes
Collaborate with Business Unit Heads on proposals, bids, and tenders, providing technical input and validation
Spearhead the implementation and optimization of engineering software and digital tools for seamless project execution
Ensure cost control and resource optimization in alignment with annual engineering budgets and business plans
Contribute as a core member of the senior management team, influencing business strategy and operational excellence
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum 20 years of experience in engineering leadership within EPC/FEED projects related to water, wastewater, desalination, energy, and infrastructure
Deep domain expertise and hands-on experience in managing large-scale, complex infrastructure projects
Demonstrated ability in value engineering, team development, and compliance with regulatory frameworks
Strong working knowledge of engineering software, digital tools, and best practices in project engineering
Multidisciplinary engineering leadership
