Constellation are seeking an experienced, passionate, and creative Head Chef to lead the catering operation at a prestigious professional Financial companies UK head offices based in Temple Quay, Bristol. Job Responsibility
Lead, manage, and develop the kitchen team
Plan, prepare, and deliver fresh, high-quality menus for breakfast, lunch, hospitality, and corporate events
Create innovative seasonal menus that meet client expectations and dietary requirements
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
Manage food purchasing, stock control, and supplier relationships
Monitor food costs, labour costs, and kitchen budgets
Maintain strict compliance with food safety, allergen management, and health & safety regulations
Conduct regular stock takes and minimise food waste
Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff
Work closely with site management and clients to ensure service excellence
Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely
Deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen operation
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience managing food costs, budgets, and stock control
Excellent knowledge of food safety legislation and HACCP procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Strong organisational and communication skills
Passion for fresh food and innovative menu development
Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3
Nice to have
Experience within corporate, business and industry, hospitality, or contract catering environments
Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management
Relevant culinary qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Experience delivering hospitality and conference catering services
