Lighthouse Hotel Management is seeking an experienced, creative, and driven Head Chef to lead the kitchen at The Halyard, Rope Walks Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a key department within a unique dual-branded hotel, part of the IHG Vignette Collection and Holiday Inn Express, the first of its kind in the UK.
Job Responsibility
Lead, recruit, train, and develop a team of 8 chefs and 4 kitchen porters
Build talent pipelines by working with local colleges and emerging chefs
Manage menu planning, ensuring creativity, quality, and profitability
Oversee supplier sourcing, purchasing, stock control, and deliveries
Ensure seamless food preparation and service across all hotel outlets
Drive passion, flair, and performance within your team
Maintain the highest levels of food hygiene, safety, and compliance
Deliver against brand standards, guest expectations, and business objectives
