Head Chef position at Nell's Pizza, a neighbourhood bar serving New York style pizza, part of a growing company with six sites across Greater Manchester and expansion plans. The role involves leading the kitchen, ensuring quality and compliance, and fostering team development within a company culture focused on being real, bringing energy, creating sparks, and caring a lot.

Job Responsibility:

Run a top-tier kitchen, from recruitment and food safety to prep, rotas, and quality control
Set the gold standard and lead by example
Build a high-performing kitchen team that shares your passion for quality and thrives in a dynamic environment
Bring fresh ideas to evolve the menu, kitchen operations, and team performance
Deliver the best NY-style pizzas using high-quality, sustainably sourced ingredients
Uphold food safety and compliance standards through regular checks and consistent attention to detail
Order stock and organize prep levels to ensure efficiency
Manage kitchen team shifts, ensuring balance and support
Keep food quality high, while fostering a culture of learning and development
Encourage team members to take ownership of their growth while providing guidance and support
