We’re now looking for an inspiring and driven Head Chef to lead the kitchen, develop the menu, and shape the next chapter of this destination restaurant.
Job Responsibility:
Leading, inspiring, and developing the kitchen team at 18
Overseeing menu development and seasonal innovation
Maintaining consistency, quality, and creativity across all dishes
Managing stock, ordering, GP, and labour targets in line with budgets
Driving training, motivation, and development of chefs at all levels
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Collaborating with the restaurant management team to deliver seamless service and guest satisfaction
Representing the kitchen and brand with pride and professionalism
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous in a high-quality, high-volume kitchen
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop others
Excellent culinary knowledge and creative flair with a focus on seasonal produce
Sound financial understanding and ability to manage budgets effectively
Calm, strategic, and hands-on leadership style
A genuine passion for food, people, and exceptional hospitality
