With hygiene and safety always front of mind, you’ll take responsibility for managing the kitchen efficiently. You’ll also play a vital role in shaping mealtimes into enjoyable, ambient dining experiences.
Job Responsibility:
Inspire kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals
Ensure every dish supports Residents’ health and wellbeing considering dietary needs, cultural preferences, and nutritional requirements
Manage kitchen efficiently overseeing stock, budgets, orders, and compliance with food safety standards
Work closely with central teams to maintain nutritional excellence
Run a smooth, well-organised kitchen operation
Shape mealtimes into enjoyable, ambient dining experiences
Requirements:
S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery
Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
Good understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
Energy, leadership, and ability to motivate others
Organised and able to plan ahead
Kind, considerate, and committed
Able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do
Required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to role
Full right to work in the UK
