We are looking for a Head Chef to head up the team at The Alex. You will be joining a small team that delivers pub classics with a sprinkling of Mexican dishes. We are looking for someone who can drive the menu forward and continue creating simple yet flavoursome dishes, working alongside the executive chef. The venue consists mostly of communal outdoor seating and is a local favourite hang-out spot getting busiest in the evenings and on weekends.

Requirements:
3+ years cooking in a pub or bistro setting
Is currently in a head chef or sous chef position and has experience managing a small team
Enjoys working in a pub venue and creating dishes to the venue brief
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with great communication skills
Strong understanding of kitchen finances, food safety and staff training
