The Head Bartender is responsible for leading the bar experience by combining expert mixology, operational oversight, and hands‑on leadership. This role sets the tone for beverage excellence by ensuring consistent quality, creativity, and service standards, while mentoring the bar team and enhancing the overall guest journey. As a key figure in the Food & Beverage operation, the Head Bartender drives innovation in cocktail presentation, maintains product knowledge at the highest level, and ensures that every guest interaction reflects the Four Seasons commitment to personalized, memorable service in a refined, luxury environment.
Job Responsibility
Deliver an exceptional food & beverage experience by presenting menu items with engaging descriptions, sharing their origin, preparation, and flavors
Provide attentive, personalized service by anticipating guest needs, ensuring satisfaction, and resolving requests or concerns with urgency and care
Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with Four Seasons standards, ensuring quality, presentation, and timing excellence
Coordinate closely with Culinary, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless service flow
Maintain front‑ and back‑of‑house bar areas, including setup, breakdown, cleanliness, stock control, and equipment readiness
Accurately process orders and payments using the hotel POS system, handling cash responsibly and following all procedures
Uphold safety, hygiene, and service standards at all times, responding appropriately to any incident or emergency
Requirements
Previous experience in food & beverage service or bar operations, preferably in a hotel or high‑end hospitality environment
Genuine passion for hospitality, guest engagement, and delivering refined, memorable service experiences
Strong product knowledge or willingness to learn menus, beverages, preparation methods, and service standards in depth
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently with international guests
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work professionally and harmoniously in a team environment
High attention to detail, organization, and the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast‑paced setting
Flexibility to work different shifts and a commitment to personal presentation, professionalism, and hygiene standards
