Head and neck surgeon - microvascular reconstruction

• Build a practice within a Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Program at a comprehensive cancer center
• Join a uniquely specialized, multidisciplinary team integrating surgery, medical and radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, genetic counseling, speech pathology, psychology, dedicated patient-care nurse navigators and wellness/survivorship programs
• Demonstrate commitment to a multidisciplinary integrated model of cancer care
• Fully support the clinical, scholarly, and educational missions of our Cancer Center and our System
• Collaborate in national initiatives and scholarly activities with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and its Department of Head and Neck Surgery
• Influence the future direction of our program

• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery with Free-Flap Reconstruction is required
• MD/DO and unrestricted Florida Medical License are required
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility by the American Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery
• Have completed an accredited fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery with Free-Flap Reconstruction, and/or additional experience in skull base procedures
• Be certified, or eligible for certification, by the American Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery
• Be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License

While all applications will be considered, an experienced or mid-career candidate is desired

• Recommended for Adjunct Appointment at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center commensurate with their clinical and academic achievements
• Subspecialty PA-C support including first assist in operating room, inpatient, and clinic coverage
