Job Description:

Due to recent structure changes and our continued drive to utilise internal resources, we have an exciting opportunity for a HD Fitter – specialising in Dump Trucks. This will be a challenging and dynamic role encompassing both time on the floor, as well as time focusing on reliability and improvement initiatives. This role will be 8/6 dayshift only.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support site execution of reliability & improvement projects for our fleet, focusing on improving reliability and reducing total costs of ownership
  • Contribute to improvements in maintenance strategies and tactics by effectively communicating real world data on failures to central support teams
  • Preventative and Breakdown maintenance on Dump Trucks
  • Provide technical expertise and input to support site maintenance by acting as a SME

Requirements:

  • Australian recognised trade certificate
  • Current Australian driver’s license
  • Mining or extensive MEM experience with large-scale surface mining machinery from major OEMs
  • Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and preventative maintenance expertise
  • NHHC within 12 months or willingness to attain
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Extensive knowledge and experience maintaining Komatsu and CAT Dump Trucks
  • Absolute commitment to safe work practices
  • Basic understanding of reliability centered maintenance
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly document procedures and present findings
