Job Responsibility

  • Operate haul trucks to transport materials within the site

  • Familiarity with the operation of various types of heavy construction equipment for loading/unloading operations and to perform self-loading tasks
  • Secure equipment and materials onto trucks and ensure state and federal guidelines for safe transport and vehicle capabilities are met
  • Assist in the assembly/disassembly of large equipment (cranes, excavators, etc.)
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers to ensure the safe transportation of equipment and materials
  • Complete DOT-required drivers logs and other documentation requirements in an accurate and timely manner
