We are currently seeking a Hardware Technician to join our team in Batesville, Indiana. As a Hardware Technician, you will be responsible for overall technical operations and quality of the hardware plating process.

Job Responsibility

  • Checks and monitors quality of hardware and plating system
  • Assists in maintaining high standards of quality for the area and resolves all hardware quality issues
  • Ensure all paints ready for use daily on plating line and backline
  • Ensures adherence to all standard operating procedures and quality control checks
  • Assure equipment cleaning schedule is completed in the E-Room, vacuum chambers, cleaning systems and ovens
  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure continued operation and high-quality product
  • Inspect all rejected products to determine corrective action and counter measures to be taken

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training
  • or equivalent combination of education
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous manufacturing experience with injection molding and plastic plating
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced in working in a fast-paced setting
  • Must work independently and within a team setting
  • The ability to work a variable work schedule
