Job Responsibility

  • Be responsible for assembling self-driving vehicles and their sub-assemblies
  • Work within the Aurora Manufacturing Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Adhere to safety standards and meet internal deadlines while working with minimal oversight
  • Help aid in the creation of build documentation
  • Attend training sessions through on-the-job mentorship, or a traditional classroom environment

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with a background in technical trade school or other educational equivalent
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 or standardized process environments
  • Ability to build self-driving trucks with top-level integrations
  • Ability to assemble wiring harnesses, read wiring schematics and layouts
  • Experience with various software tools and standard documentation practices
  • Basic proficiency in both Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Customer-focused mindset regarding delivering quality
  • Ability to reason, isolate, and resolve issues
  • Physical abilities: handle, feel, and control objects
  • grasp, move, and assemble small items
