Job Description:

ALSO is looking for a Technical Program Manager responsible for driving battery modules end to end from concept/proto development phase through mass production. You will partner with product, hardware, supply chain, industrial design, and other cross-functional teams to drive product development in consumer-facing products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead multi-disciplinary hardware projects from start to finish, managing battery programs across multiple product lines.
  • Work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules including design, release, builds, test and make decisions to unblock development, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
  • Drive the planning and implementation of customer features with the cross-functional teams to hit roadmap goals, tracking progress, analyzing risks, resolve execution issues and communicating status.
  • Develop and manage battery program schedules, technical issues, design release management, certification, manufacturing, and resource needs with engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage communication of progress/status with stakeholders and leadership in various locations and time zones, own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams
  • Identify and solve the top program blockers and adapt lean processes to the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or a related engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, product management, engineering or similar cross-functional role
  • Worked in battery hardware product development, especially through EVT, DVT, PVT phases of manufacturing ramp.
  • Ability to understand technical discussions and provide decision framework for continuing development.
  • Clear communicator - able to hold conversations with engineering and supply chain.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
