Requirements

Are well versed with complex electromechanical systems and are passionate about understanding what it takes to make them work reliably
Have experience developing full system test plans and know how to execute them in fast-paced product development timelines
Have experience with testing a wide range of sensors, actuators, and mechanical components
Can prototype and run your own tests, from experimental setup to hardware and software implementation
A portfolio of your previous engineering work/projects is required

Job Responsibility

Develop, execute, and manage system, subsystem, and component level validation test plans to ensure products meet design and reliability requirements
Work with other teams to ensure a thorough system is completed
Perform hands-on and data-driven root cause analysis to triage field failures and electromechanical systems, utilizing common problem-solving methodologies and a "physics of failure" approach
Design, build, and implement automated testing equipment for subsystem characterization and reliability/environmental testing
Collaborate with the design team throughout product development to perform risk assessments, manage continuous testing, and contribute to design reviews

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree program
experience or understanding of electrical design tools and software packages
good analytical and problem-solving skills
understanding of design for electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms
understanding of thermal and electromagnetic properties of materials and managing emissions
good written and verbal communication skills
mastery in English

Job Responsibility

You will work on a specific project critical to HPE
you will design portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements
you will implement established test plans for existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements
you will participate as a member of project team of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products
you will be mentored by a senior member of the engineering team who will help you to technically approach the use case
