Job Description

We are looking for an Hardware Engineer to join our Product Development team in Modena. He/She will design HW electronics module in the field of AC/DC power conversion starting from specification and regulation norm analysis and block diagram definition. From the architecture he/she will define the key components and the electric scheme connection defining the BOM. He/she will check the schematic and BOM consistency . He/she will support the PCB layout with review of the components placement and connection.

Job Responsibility

  • Design HW electronics module in the field of AC/DC power conversion starting from specification and regulation norm analysis and block diagram definition
  • Define the key components and the electric scheme connection defining the BOM
  • Check the schematic and BOM consistency
  • Support the PCB layout with review of the components placement and connection
  • Debug and FW development in C language
  • Schematic and layout adjustments to cover issue
  • Take part of BOM optimization process reducing BOM lines
  • Approve alternative cheap part number

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering with high final marks
  • Recent graduate with significant thesis or internship in the field of hardware
  • Good knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters and inverters
  • Native level of Italian and good English (B2 or higher)
  • Microcontroller fundamentals
  • Device Fundamental, resistor, capacitor, inductor, transformer, diode and transistor
