Job Description

I’m currently looking for a Hardware Designer with 3–5 years of experience for an exciting consulting opportunity within product development. In this role, you will work across the full product lifecycle — from early-stage design through to production, manufacturing support, and quality assurance. This is a hands-on position involving electronics design, lab work, and the use of measurement instruments. You will take ownership of your projects while collaborating closely with a team to deliver optimal solutions. Job Responsibility

  • Work across the full product lifecycle — from early-stage design through to production, manufacturing support, and quality assurance

  • Take ownership of your projects while collaborating closely with a team to deliver optimal solutions

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in hardware/electronics design
  • Strong experience with PCB design (schematics and layout)
  • Understanding of signal integrity, EMC, power supply, and thermal considerations
  • Experience with microcontroller and/or FPGA-based systems
  • Knowledge of analog design (basic to intermediate level)
  • Solid lab and measurement/instrumentation experience
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Fluency in Swedish is required (this is essential for the role)
  • English alone is not sufficient

Nice to have

  • Experience with customer interaction
  • Exposure to project coordination or light project management

  • Work with other members of the Controls Engineering Department and other groups to ensure that labour budgets and material budgets are adhered to or improved upon
  • Specify all electrical and controls-related hardware and software and produce requisitions for material purchases
  • Integrate third party equipment and electronic component entry into electrical design packages
  • Verify that electrical design package is complete, accurate and safe based on sound design practices and accepted standards, and that the I/O drawings meet program requirements prior to issue to shop floor
  • Work with customers, project managers, designers, toolmakers and electricians to solve problems in order to provide the customer with a complete, functional system
