Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Delivery Manager to lead the spend authorization, hardware delivery operations and process modernization efforts for Secure Network Services technology assets. This role heads the Hardware Delivery Requests team, ensuring timely, secure, and cost-effective provisioning of hardware across the organization. The Technology Delivery Manager drives operational excellence in technology spend authorization, hardware request intake, procurement coordination, and fulfillment, while maintaining a strong risk management and compliance focus aligned with Wells Fargo’s policies and business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors with moderate complexity and risk, overseeing enterprise hardware delivery operations from intake through fulfillment
  • Collaborate with engineers, technology partners, procurement, and finance teams to design and implement efficient hardware request and delivery processes, addressing escalated issues and ensuring timely fulfillment of hardware needs
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Hardware Delivery function to drive alignment, secure support for key initiatives, and enhance service delivery
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and enhanced risk controls for hardware request workflows, implementing automation and tool enhancements (e.g., in the HDR system) along with metrics and reporting to drive continuous improvement and transparency
  • Manage hardware request intake, delegate tasks, and ensure the HDR team operates cohesively, maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and quality in hardware procurement and deployment
  • Define strategy and direct actions for the HDR team to meet moderate- to high-risk deliverables, aligning technology execution with business priorities and compliance requirements
  • Review all requests seeking authorization for technology purchases for Secure Network Services and ensure requests align to organizational priorities, and identify and allocate funding and manage through tecnology and finance approval processes
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for hardware delivery functions with moderate complexity, ensuring operational practices adhere to Wells Fargo’s enterprise governance and compliance standards
  • Ensure strong risk management and security by implementing appropriate controls in hardware provisioning and asset management processes, safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with and influence professionals at all levels, including senior leaders, to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and align hardware delivery operations with broader company strategy
  • Manage the allocation of personnel and financial resources for the HDR team, ensuring commitments are met while optimizing resources in line with strategic objectives
  • Foster a culture of talent development, providing coaching and mentorship to direct reports and promoting growth opportunities to meet business objectives and future talent needs

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in technology operations, service delivery, infrastructure operations, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience in a technology or operations environment (leading teams of individual contributors or managers)
  • Demonstrated success leading operations teams responsible for hardware delivery or IT infrastructure provisioning in a large enterprise environment, with a focus on risk control and operational excellence
  • Experience driving process optimization and automation in service delivery workflows, leveraging tools and data to improve throughput, reduce cycle times, and enhance accuracy
  • Strong financial and spend governance acumen, including experience managing budgets, working with procurement processes, and optimizing cost efficiency in hardware transactions
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across business, technology, finance, and vendor management stakeholders, including experience in a regulated industry with complex approval processes
  • Familiarity with hardware delivery tools or platforms (e.g., request management systems) and metrics-driven management, with a track record of implementing reporting and dashboard solutions to guide decision-making
