Job Description:

This position is responsible for the accurate and timely testing of consumer products, reporting data, and writing technical reports.

Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluate products submitted for testing for quality/safety issues, with direction from senior staff
  • Prepares a variety of samples for testing using prescribed testing methods
  • Conducts testing or analyzes a variety of consumer products for basic bench analysis and limited analytical instrumentation
  • Use and verify test equipment and instruments and maintain record keeping system for calibration/quality system integrity
  • Accurately record test data per BV Quality guidelines
  • Organizes and manages workload to meet or exceed laboratory turn-around time and client expectations
  • Accurately compile data, prepare and review written technical reports
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Interpret and apply industry standards within a limited scope
  • Conduct verbal and written communications with internal clients regarding administrative and technical issues
  • Write, train, implement and update lab procedures with direction from senior staff

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years related experience
  • or 2 year technical degree and 6-12 months related experience
