The Hard Skip Specialist will locate customers and collateral using various investigative (skip tracing) techniques with the goal being repossession of collateral on charged-off accounts. All duties must be performed with a high degree of professionalism and integrity while following all applicable laws and regulations. Manages the assignment of repossessions along with follow up as needed with the assignment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist and perform all daily skip trace activities to locate individuals for recovery of collateral
Maintain and establish new and existing repossession vendor relationships
Manage all accounts that have been assigned to them with the goal of repossession of collateral
Completes required applicable paperwork including sending all required Federal and State regulation letters
Manage replevins
Collaborate with Repossession team on various recovery tactics
Locates and secures collateral on accounts that have been previously charged-off
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Six (6) months office experience or equivalent education and training
At least 1 year of skip trace experience
Strong understanding of skip tracing and systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong notation and organizational skills
Nice to have:
Previous experience in auto skip tracing
