Job Description:

Handyperson position at W Brisbane Engineering team responsible for maintenance, repairs, and guest service requests at the hotel property

Job Responsibility:

Respond to guest repair requests
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
Communicate daily activities between shifts
Perform painting, drywall and wood trim repairs
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and electrical equipment
Program TV's
Use Lockout/Tagout safety system
Maintain landscaping and sprinklers

Requirements:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair
Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment, plumbing, electrical components
Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties
Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping
