Requirements

Outstanding hands-on experience as a handyman or general maintenance worker
High level of comfort operating diverse specialized tools and troubleshooting facility problems
Strong manual dexterity and physical coordination for precision repairs and finishing work
Exceptional problem-solving abilities to independently figure out the best approach for unique repair tasks
Excellent time-management skills to handle multiple maintenance requests throughout the day shift
Proven, verifiable track record of success working as a handyman or in a related skilled trades role
Demonstrated proficiency in minor drywall repair, painting, and floor sanding techniques
Physical capability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and manage the physical demands of maintenance work
Possession of standard personal protective equipment, including certified steel-toe safety boots

Job Responsibility

Perform high-quality minor drywall repair, including patching, taping, and mudding holes or cracks
Execute interior and exterior painting projects to maintain the visual and structural integrity of the facility
Carry out floor sanding and surface preparation tasks safely and efficiently
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve various mechanical, structural, or facility-related issues daily
Utilize a wide array of hand and power tools with precision and full compliance with safety standards
Complete various general handyman tasks, moving projects forward with autonomy and attention to detail
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, reporting any major structural concerns to management
