Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Handyman for a permanent, static position based at a major healthcare facility in the Fulham / West London area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, supportive team and play a key role in the day-to-day upkeep of a critical site.

Job Responsibility:

  • Fabric repairs including changing ceiling tiles, repairing door locks and hinges, and basic painting and decorating
  • Minor plumbing such as clearing toilet blockages and unblocking sinks
  • Performing basic planned preventative maintenance (PPM) routines, including visual safety and condition inspections
  • Taking ownership of daily work orders to resolve minor building issues quickly and efficiently
  • Working alongside electricians, plumbers, and mechanical engineers to deliver high-quality maintenance services across the site

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a handyman or general maintenance role, ideally within a commercial or public-sector environment
  • Competent in basic carpentry (locks/hinges), painting, and minor plumbing
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a large team and communicate with site staff
  • A proactive approach to tasks and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
