Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with move-ins and furniture placement for staging projects
  • Expertly hang mirrors, artwork, headboards, shelving, drapery rods, and wall decor securely and aesthetically
  • Assemble and disassemble furniture, beds, and other staging pieces as needed
  • Perform minor repairs and touch-ups to furniture and staging materials
  • Ensure proper use of tools and safety procedures when handling installations
  • Load and unload staging items from company vehicles
  • Collaborate with the staging team to execute flawless installations
  • Address last-minute staging needs and troubleshooting on-site

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a handyman, furniture installer, or similar role
  • Proficiency with tools such as drills, levels, stud finders, and hand tools
  • Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (50+ lbs)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Professional and respectful demeanor in client-facing environments
