Handy Person

• Maintenance of heating and lighting
• Maintenance of the overall fabric of the building
• Regular checks on the boiler and water systems
• Completing all relevant health and safety checks
• Maintaining the home and surrounding gardens

• Experience in a similar maintenance role with strong practical skills
• Comfortable in an elderly care setting, with the ability to relate to residents in a caring and sensitive manner
• Confident working on own initiative
• Positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to prioritise work schedules to meet the needs of the Home and its residents
• Commitment to providing a well-maintained environment

Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Facilities Services (or equivalent)
