Join a leading FM company as a fabric engineer/handyperson in central London. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about maintenance and repair work to thrive on a large site. Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) or (10am - 7pm) plenty of overtime available on site. Large static site

Job Responsibility:

  • Tiling
  • Carpentry - Door hanging
  • Assembling furniture
  • Plumbing
  • Drainage & flushing
  • Fire alarm/door testing
  • Grouting & Plastering
  • Repairing building fixtures: doors, handles, windows etc.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a building services fabric engineer/handyperson in a commercial/high end residential setting
  • Trades qualifications - C&G / NVQ carpentry preferred
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK

  • Complete regular inspections of building and reporting any issues to the Facilities Manager
  • Determine tools and equipment needed for individual repair or maintenance job
  • Deliver projects from start to finish which can vary from small maintenance through to full office refurbishments projects
  • Overseeing various trades and contractors whilst on site
  • Monitor the building's security, including locking/unlocking doors and ensuring access control
  • Complete general maintenance tasks across the offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and common areas
