Job Description:

Seeking a Hands-On Controller to lead and manage all accounting operations. This position requires a proactive leader who can oversee daily processes while driving financial planning and reporting for private equity stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee all accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close
Manage daily cash flow and prepare cash forecasts
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making
Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for private equity stakeholders, ensuring GAAP compliance
Drive process improvements and support system upgrades or ERP implementations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
prior Controller or Accounting Manager experience in a small to mid-sized company preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Hands-on experience with A/P, A/R, and cash management
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment
