As a licensed hairstylist, you will work independently to provide hair care services for Residents in a welcoming long-term care environment. Typical services include perms, roller sets, hair colouring, and haircuts for both men and women. You will manage your own appointment bookings, set service pricing, and purchase supplies as needed. Billing support is provided through the Home’s business office. Candidates must maintain their own professional liability insurance. Hairstyling services are typically offered two days per week. A minimal chair rental fee applies ($1 per client for the first 40 clients, and $2 per client thereafter).
