Job Description:

The Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) is seeking an experienced and motivated HSCT Quality Manager to support our Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) Programme. This is a vital role ensuring our service continues to meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. As an accredited programme under the Joint Accreditation Committee ISCT-Europe & EBMT (JACIE), and licensed by the Human Tissue Authority (HTA), we require a dedicated professional to help us maintain and further strengthen our quality management systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, develop and maintain the HSCT quality management system
  • Drive continuous improvement to support ongoing accreditation and licensing
  • Ensure all quality processes meet JACIE and HTA regulatory standard
  • Hold responsibility for the establishment, maintenance and continuous improvement of the HSCT quality management system in compliance with regulatory standards to support continued accreditation and licencing
  • Hold responsibility for the management, organisation and compliance of HSCT Programme accreditation and licencing inspection processes
  • Participation and attendance in meetings relating to HSCT Programme activity
  • Supporting management of written agreements relating to the HSCT Programme

Requirements:

  • Experience of quality management systems
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • Can work autonomously
  • Can use initiative to implement improvements to working practices of own work and that of others
  • Can plan and prioritise work with conflicting deadlines for themselves and others
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience of line management
  • Relevant post-graduate training in quality management
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Knowledge of JACIE / HTA accreditation
