The Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) is seeking an experienced and motivated HSCT Quality Manager to support our Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) Programme. This is a vital role ensuring our service continues to meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. As an accredited programme under the Joint Accreditation Committee ISCT-Europe & EBMT (JACIE), and licensed by the Human Tissue Authority (HTA), we require a dedicated professional to help us maintain and further strengthen our quality management systems.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, develop and maintain the HSCT quality management system
Drive continuous improvement to support ongoing accreditation and licensing
Ensure all quality processes meet JACIE and HTA regulatory standard
Hold responsibility for the establishment, maintenance and continuous improvement of the HSCT quality management system in compliance with regulatory standards to support continued accreditation and licencing
Hold responsibility for the management, organisation and compliance of HSCT Programme accreditation and licencing inspection processes
Participation and attendance in meetings relating to HSCT Programme activity
Supporting management of written agreements relating to the HSCT Programme
Requirements:
Experience of quality management systems
Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
Degree level education or equivalent experience
Can work autonomously
Can use initiative to implement improvements to working practices of own work and that of others
Can plan and prioritise work with conflicting deadlines for themselves and others
Good interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills
Nice to have:
Experience of line management
Relevant post-graduate training in quality management
