Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Hadoop Developer with strong expertise in Hadoop and Kafka ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in big data processing, performance tuning, and working in Agile environments, preferably within the banking domain.

Job Responsibility

  • Configure, deploy, and monitor Kafka environments
  • Work with Kafka brokers, producers, and consumers
  • Manage topics, partitions, and offsets
  • Develop and optimize applications using Spark and Scala/Java
  • Work with HDFS, MapReduce, and Hadoop ecosystem tools
  • Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Develop shell scripts for automation
  • Work on Cloudera Data Platform (CDP)
  • Implement CI/CD deployments
  • Collaborate in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence
  • Use Git/Bitbucket for version control
  • Develop and support metadata-driven ETL processes

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Hadoop (Primary Skill)
  • Strong experience in Kafka (Secondary Skill)
  • Spark and Scala/Java development
  • HDFS and MapReduce knowledge
  • Shell scripting
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Agile methodology experience
  • Banking domain experience (preferred)
  • 10–15 Years Experience
