Technical lead developer accountable for architectural decisions, quality, and delivery of backend services and complex Guidewire integrations/customizations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead design of microservices and integration patterns with Guidewire
  • Implement advanced features, performance optimizations, and resiliency
  • Define coding standards, review PRs, and guide refactoring and testing strategy
  • Partner with architects, product owners, and client SMEs
  • Coach team on GOSU, Guidewire data model, messaging, and plugins
  • Drive observability, reliability (SLOs/SLIs), and compliance

Requirements:

  • Expert-level Java/Spring ecosystem, distributed systems design
  • Deep experience with integration architectures (sync/async, event-driven)
  • Security-by-design (encryption, secrets, OWASP), performance tuning
  • Infrastructure awareness (containers, CI/CD, IaC basics)
  • 6–10+ years in Java
  • 3–5+ years in insurance/Guidewire-related projects
  • BS/MS preferred
  • Guidewire Professional/Integration certifications highly desirable

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on GOSU and customization (rules, entities, PCF)
  • Proven delivery on PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter implementations
