Job Description:

We’re looking for a hands‑on Guidewire Tech Lead with deep experience across Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and all three core Guidewire applications—PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. You will lead technical design, customization, AMS delivery, and L2/L3 support operations. This role drives solution engineering, ensures platform stability, supports production, and oversees continuous enhancements across Guidewire applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead design, configuration, and extension of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter
  • Provide technical leadership to development and AMS teams
  • Manage application operations and support delivery across L2 & L3
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and deliver permanent fixes
  • Own environment management, release coordination, and production deployments on GW Cloud
  • Develop and maintain business rules, workflows, and integrations using Gosu/Java
  • Integrate Guidewire apps with external/third‑party systems (APIs, messaging, middleware)
  • Ensure cloud compliance, code quality, and performance best practices
  • Support cloud upgrades, patching cycles, and configuration migrations
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and cross‑functional squads in Agile delivery
  • Maintain documentation, design specs, and support runbooks

Requirements:

  • Must have strong hands-on experience across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter & ClaimCenter
  • Must have experience in Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) implementation or AMS
  • Must have solid experience delivering L2 & L3 application support
  • Strong understanding of P&C insurance processes across policy, billing, and claims
  • Proficiency in Gosu, Java, integrations, and Guidewire configuration
  • Experience leading technical teams and guiding solution delivery
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Nice to have:

Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter/GW Cloud) are preferred
