The Guest Services team is responsible for ensuring that the outside operations of the golf course run smoothly and efficiently. This includes assisting golfers with their needs, maintaining golf carts, managing the practice areas, and supporting the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others in a dynamic setting. This role will support the Pro Shop as well as the guests on the outside course, which means the working time will be split between an indoor and outdoor environment.
Job Responsibility:
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, professional welcome and assist with golf cart rentals, ensuring that carts are clean, fully charged, and in good working condition
Ensure all carts are stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., scorecards, pencils, sand)
Provide excellent service to guests, assisting with course/service questions, bag loading/unloading, and directing players to their starting tees
Maintain and monitor the practice areas, including the driving range, putting green, and chipping area
Assist golfers with retrieving balls from the range and offer help as needed
Assist with setting up for events, tournaments, or outings by ensuring that necessary equipment and signage are in place
Help with the proper upkeep of the course by performing light maintenance duties such as raking practice bunkers, picking up litter, and ensuring the course is visually appealing
Clean golf clubs between/after rounds, monitor the collection of golf clubs left behind, and assist in returning lost or forgotten items to the appropriate areas
Ensure the safe operation of golf carts, adhering to all company and safety policies
Monitor cart traffic on the course and ensure that golfers follow course rules and etiquette
Report any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately
Work closely with other Guest Services team members and staff to ensure the course is ready for play and that golfers' needs are met
Requirements:
A passion for golf and a customer-focused attitude
Previous experience in customer service and/or at a golf course is preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly and positive attitude with the ability to interact with people of all backgrounds
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Basic knowledge of golf etiquette and course layout is a plus
