Guest Services Representative

• Welcome guests warmly at the front entrance and Box Office, ensuring a positive first impression
• Provide detailed information about permanent and rotating exhibits, becoming knowledgeable about the museum and the Civil Rights era
• Monitor assigned areas within the museum to assist guests and maintain traffic flow
• Offer guidance and answer questions in hallways, helping visitors navigate the museum
• Manage the theater experience by delivering pre- and post-video announcements to enhance guest engagement
• Maintain an attentive demeanor while standing for extended periods and addressing visitor needs
• Support organizational sales and service goals through excellent customer interactions
• Ensure guests have a seamless experience by addressing concerns promptly and effectively
• Uphold museum standards by maintaining cleanliness and order in your assigned areas
• Collaborate with team members to provide consistent and high-quality service throughout the museum

• At least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work weekends as required
• Experience in retail or sales environments is an advantage
• Proven ability to assist and direct guests with attention to detail
• Familiarity with inventory management or retail processes is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high visitor traffic
